Tomas Lacke

Tomas Lacke (b. 1976) is a Swedish self-taught artist creating both paintings and sculptures. He has been active since the 90s and has his studio in Åkersberga, Stockholm, where he also lives.

 

Among his paintings, large abstract and figurative motifs are blended carefully with a mix of warm earthy colors. However, Lacke is perhaps most famous by his sculptures, cut out of steel that are silhouetted against our nature or as the foreground of his paintings.
